Another OB Appointment

Well nothing really to note at today's appointment. He had a hard time finding baby A's heartbeat, but finally found it right on my belly button. No internal this appointment, so hopefully I haven't dilated anymore. My OB will do one once a month, but says more than than can irritate the cervix. As for my varicose veins, apparently they will only get worse at this point. He told me to buy "supportive underwear." WTF IS SUPPORTIVE UNDERWEAR??? I have a full ultrasound that I need to schedule for early next week to check on the cervix and the boys growths/ developments as well.

As for other stuff, I am super emotional lately. On the way to the OB appointment, "Landslide" came on the radio and I started crying. I don't even really like that song, but when whiny Stevie Nicks sang "Well, Ive been afraid of changing cause I've built my life around you; But time makes you bolder; Children get older; I'm getting older too" I just lost it. Recently, a song they sing on the Playhouse Disney show "Bunnytown" has brought me to tears as well. Dang pregnancy emotions...

Glad that things were a little better with this OB. Sorry to hear about the veins. That sucks. And I have no clue what "Supportive Underwear" is, unless he means like granny granny pants. No offense to grannies out there.

At least Scott wasn't with you to laugh at you when you cry. Dan use to laugh at me while I was watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. I would bawl my eyes and Dan would laugh while handing me a tissue. Darn pregnancy emotions.

Now, there's a picture - you with vaginal vericose veins, or as you refer to them as hemorrhoids on your labia, (I've never had them and it sounds like I never want them) in a jockstrap. How am I suppose to eat dinner now?

I guess it's a good thing most of my maternity pants are "full panel" not under belly because the granny's would stick out!!!
