2nd ultrasound

I had my 2nd ultrasound at GBMC in the high risk unit today. They were checking on my cervix. I measured at a 2.3 and normal is a 4. I am also a fingertip dilated. At this point, they recommend "taking it easy" as well as frequent ultrasounds. The doctor at the ultrasound gave me a lecture on not picking up Claire. I was like "okay, but how do I get her in and out of the crib?" She told me to basically limit it to necessity. Poor Claire, she has a real case of the Mommys lately. I think she must know something is up...

Thank everyone for there well wishes and prayers. It means a lot!!!! I am still in a state of shock.

When's your actual due date? How far along are you right now?

Man, Erin beat me to the punch, I was gonna ask the same questions.

Hope you get some rest.

And she is adorable, I haven't seen her since Val's baby shower.

I am only 19 weeks today. I am "due" Oct. 24th.

What are they hoping to get you to? 34? 36? What's the longest they think you can go?

If you did have to go on bedrest, do they know how long you'll have to be there - will they let you be on bed rest at home or are they going to mandate that you have hospital bedrest?

Hopefully, none of the above.

My OB says at best he hopes to make it to 36 weeks. The OB also seemed to mention hospital bedrest a couple times with no mention of resting at home.

I hope that you make it to 36 weeks.

I also hope should you have to be admitted on bedrest that it is for a very short time. Hospital bed rest sucks!!!

Like I said before if you need anything let me know. my e-mail is kys99@comcast.net

Becky, we don't know each other well, but I'm Mandy's friend. Congrats even though it's a bit of a tough time. I hope everything goes well.

they probably realize that with an almost-2-year-old at home, you'll never truely be on "bed rest" there.
