2008 in Review
1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before? Um, had two babies at once!

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Not so much...I was supposed to lose weight!

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Besides me...Debi, Melissa, Emily

4. Did anyone close to you die? Yes, Scott's Mom-Mom passed in February. My friend Val lost her doggie too...

5. What countries did you visit? None

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008? More wine...

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
February 13th - found out I was pregnant
May 28th- found out I was having twins and also was told I could no longer work.
September 17th - my babies arrived

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Taking care of three children by myself!

9. What was your biggest failure? I feel like I have lost everything I worked to become at work!

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Three months of terrible morning sickness, Four months of "house arrest."

11. What was the best thing you bought? Minivan!!

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? My husband's for picking up the slack when I was unable to do anything!

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Not sure...

14. Where did most of your money go? Bills!!

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Having my boys!

16. What song will always remind you of 2008? Meesca Moosca Mickey Mouse!

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? happier
b) thinner or fatter? fatter - I just had twins
c) richer or poorer? poorer, MUCH poorer

18. What do you wish you’d done more of? Had more time going out!

19. What do you wish you’d done less of? Sitting on couch...

20. How did you spend Christmas? At home with my family and friends...

21. Did you fall in love in 2008? Oh yes, times two on September 17th.

22. What was your favorite TV program? House Hunters, 30 Rock, House

23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? I ain't a hater!

24. What was the best book you read?Oh goodness, I read SO many books this year. My favorites are..."The Time Traveler's Wife"-Audrey Niffenegger, "Bright Shiny Morning" - James Frey, "The Pillars of the Earth" -Ken Follett & "Escape" - Carolyn Jessup.

25. What was your greatest musical discovery? Mickey Mouse Clubhouse soundtrack...

26. What did you want and get? A baby...I got two!

27. What did you want and not get?An uneventful pregnancy

28. What was your favorite film of this year? Shit...I haven't been to the movies since 2006!

29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 30! I took care of twins and a two year old!!

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? More money!!

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008? Maternity

32. What kept you sane?My family & friends

33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? I think Anderson Cooper is sexy even if he is gay!!

34. What political issue stirred you the most? I don't get why people get all nutso over gay marriage...let them marry!!

35. Who did you miss? My dad!

36. Who was the best new person you met?Well, the boys, obviously.

37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008. Things don't always go as planned, but that is ok!

Yeah, I'm thinking about copying this, but I think my theme would be mostly about Phoenix and how depressing of a year it was...
